Shipping & Delivery
Click and collect is available for customers to collect their orders from our Hawthorn store during our regular opening hours.
FREE Local delivery is offered complimentary for addresses in Boroondara City, Victoria. Orders will be delivered within 2 business days. We will confirm delivery when our order is fulfilled.
Regular items: (parcel dimensions < 390 x 280 x 140mm)
- Free delivery is available for orders over $200 within Australia. For orders under $200, we charge $10 for “Regular Australia Post” and $15 for “Express Australia Post”. Parcels are shipped via Australia Post – you will be issued with a tracking number via email at the time of shipment.
Oversized items: (parcel dimensions > 390 x 280 x 140mm)
- Shipping costs will be determined upon checkout. Freight costs for oversized items vary depending on size, weight and shipping destination. Oversized parcels are shipped via TNT courier service or Australia Post – you will be issued with a tracking number via email at the time of shipment.
Delivery Time
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days – We endeavor to get your order to you ASAP. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery time will be subject to the delivery service selected but depending on location it is 2-7 days.
IMPORTANT: Please check that all items received are what you have ordered. If you have received an incorrect item DO NOT OPEN IT. We will not accept any returns or provide refunds of items that have been opened, tampered with, or not in their original condition. If you receive a damaged item please contact us within 4 days of delivery and do not throw it away as we will require proof that the item has been damaged (for example: images e-mailed to us of the damaged item.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you have not received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at admin@danfidesign.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping Terms and Conditions
- Please take extra care when entering your shipping address to make sure all details are correct. In case you provide us with an invalid shipping address and as a result the parcel is returned to us by the shipping courier, we are not responsible. In that event, the customer should pay the full cost of shipping and no refund or return would be possible.
- If your delivery method is “Australia Post”, your order can be delivered to PO Boxes. If another courier option is selected, they may or may not enable PO Box delivery.
- Shipping is at the customer’s risk. Once items have been dispatched and a tracking number is provided, Danfi Design do not take responsibility for items that are lost or damaged in transit. Danfi Design is not responsible for any damage or delayed deliveries caused by an outsourced delivery or installation company.
- If oversized items purchased must be carried upstairs or into an area with restricted access please notify Danfi Design and we will provide with a quote for your particular situation. The use of any additional equipment to assist with deliveries (scissor lifts) are the responsibility of the customer to arrange and pay for.
- It is the responsibility of purchaser to ensure that the items that you have purchased fit inside your home and will fit through access points for delivery (Allow an additional 15% to all measurements advertised online). If an order cannot be delivered due to incorrect measurements the customer will be charged a restocking fee (25% of purchase price) and freight costs to and from the shipping location.
- If the customer elects to collect their order, they must provide sufficient resources to lift and manoeuvre their order. Danfi Design takes no responsibility for order items once they leave our store. The customer is responsible for all checking, packing and transport of items in click and collects.
